William Cardona Obituary

William (Papo) Cardona, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021. William was born in Aguadilla, PR on May 7, 1935. Aguadilla, PR is where William spent most of his childhood with his family. The family later relocated to New York City where they put down roots and remained.

William was a loving and caring man of faith. He enjoyed watching the Mets, Knicks and Giants. He loved his family with all his heart. William is survived by his wife, Carmen Milagros Cardona; his three children, Yvette Cardona-Fragosa, Arleen Cardona, William Cardona; his eight grandchildren, James, Christian, Bianca, Kobe, Nia, Phoenix, Ace and Eli; his brother, Juan (Johnny) Cardona; his two sisters, Ana Luz Cardona, Sonia Iza and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

William was loved by his family, friends and his brothers and sisters who shared his faith and he will be missed.
