On June 27, 1944, God blessed this world with Thelma L. Kemp (Lady) who would change and impact the lives of those around her.

Thelma was born to the late Mary and Charlie Williams in Uniontown, Alabama.  She was one of nine (9) siblings.  Although Thelma was not blessed with children of her own, she was devoted to her nieces and nephews.  Thelma accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and continued her faith at the First Grace Baptist Church in Harlem.

Thelma worked and retired as a receptionist in a private medical practice in Harlem.

Thelma loved spending time with family and friends, she loved shopping and had a keen eye for fashion.

Thelma leaves to mourn her brothers, Joe Moss, from Cleveland, Ohio and George Williams, from Bronx, New York; and a sister, Bertha Williams-Jones, from Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Two sisters-in-law, Marie Williams and Betty Moss, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

“Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning”
