Audrey Jean Jones

On Sunday, April 28th, 2019, God peacefully called AUDREY JEAN JONES.  

She was born on June 6, 1937 in Bessemer, Alabama to Melvin and Martha Jones.  During her formative years in Bessemer, Audrey accepted Christ at any early age and joined the New Bethlehem Baptist Church.  She was also a proud graduate of Dunbar High School in 1955.

As a young woman, Audrey was employed as a Key Punch Operator in the business sector.  In addition, she was also a Customer Service Representative for Avis Rent-A-Car, in the New York Metropolitan Area.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  two brothers – James and Winfred Jones; one sister-in-law - Brownie Jones; four nieces - Roquishia, Tiffany, Calandra and Monica; three nephews – James Jr., Darrell and Winfred; a host of cousins, caring friends and other loving relatives.
